🚦 Getting Started (Studio Key Features)
Welcome to the studio, let's get your first scene up and running in no time! These features and pages are key to setting up your scene.
Notes About the Studio
The studio is one of soon to be multiple ways to publish augmented reality experiences to any given location, marker, or person. Currently the AR Studio is optimized for desktop and table publishing in the web with plans to create a mobile version in the near future. The following tutorials will provide more insight for creators after they've successfully signed up for an illust. account. For more on account set up please visit the Resources section.
Your First Experience

Studio Preview
Below is the AR Studio Editor, the area where you can configure your augmented reality experiences. Couple of things to note:
"Studio Preview" - the area that displays the graphics in the top left corner
"Material Editor" - the area in the bottom left used to change a 3D experiences materials. Currently, this area is only available for 3D models. (note: if you have a 3D experience and you don't see it, save the scene and give the browser a nice refresh)
Editor Mode: to navigate to different AR configuration modules, tap the drop down on the upper right of the studio.
"Saving" - only after filling in the "General Data" such as title, slug, and author, you will be able to "Save" the experience and you will be able to generate an AR preview.
"Simple AR Preview" - provides creators with a stripped down AR scene that only includes the name of the work and a photo capturing button.
"Spatial AR Preview" - provides creators with a geofenced AR scene that also includes a map navigation to other experiences in the world. You must be within the established geofence to activate an experience using this feature.
"Duplicate" - duplicating the scene will take all of the saved components of your AR scene and duplicate it. The duplicated scene auto-generates a new "Studio URL" and "Slug" but needs to be saved, otherwise you may lose work if you made any changes.
"Delete" - this deletes the AR scene entirely and you will no longer have access to your work. Works will be removed from the map.

Studio Library
As you continue producing augmented reality experiences, your works will be saved to the Studio Library. Here you can edit works by tapping "edit" or creating new works by tapping the "Create Piece" button.
